Making an Acai bowl at home is totally possible and easy. The best part of it is knowing what exactly goes into your bowl. It’s also relatively inexpensive compared to a bowl purchased at stores. We love making it when we have more time to spare over the weekends like how Jean does on a lazy Sunday.
Weekend Acai bowl recipe, here we goooooo!
Acai Base Ingredients: 100g Gratefood organic unsweetened frozen açaí pulp 1 full frozen cavendish banana or 3-4 frozen “baby banana” (pisang mas) 3 tablespoon of choice of milk
Acai Toppings: Coconut Shavings, Cacao Nibs, Granola, Strawberries
Instructions: Thaw the Acai bar slightly and crack into smaller pieces within the pack Slit the centre of the pack with a knife and pour the cracked frozen Acai pieces into the blender Add in the frozen bananas and milk into the blender and blend till smooth and thick consistency Add toppings and serve immediately
